EveryonePlans keeps one registry of everything an organization has — venues and rooms, equipment, vehicles, kit, inventory — where "can be booked", "can be rented" and "gets counted" are properties you switch on an item rather than four separate tools that each hold half the answer.
01THE PROBLEM
Why this is worth having
Ask most organizations what they own and the answer is in four places: a room-booking calendar, a spreadsheet of equipment, an inventory count somebody does quarterly, and a person who knows where the spare key is. Nothing reconciles them, so the same projector is double-booked, uncounted and unavailable at once.
02HOW IT WORKS
The mechanism
- One registry answers "what do we have?" — locations, spaces and things together, because they are the same question asked at different sizes.
- Bookable, rentable and countable are chips ON an item, so making the hall rentable does not mean re-entering it in a rentals system.
- A rentable item carries its rate card inline, so pricing lives with the thing rather than in a separate price list that drifts.
- Everything is permissioned like any other record, so a volunteer can see what is available without seeing what it cost.

- Switch on "can be rented" and add a rate card; it can now be quoted and invoiced.
- Its chairs are things at the same location with a count, so nobody promises two hundred seats to two events.

About everything you own, in one registry
Can I manage venues and equipment in the same place?
Yes — locations, spaces and things live in one registry, because they are the same question at different scales. A venue contains rooms, a room contains equipment, and each can independently be bookable, rentable or counted.
Can I rent things out to customers?
Yes. Marking an item rentable and giving it a rate card makes it quotable and invoiceable through the same money surface as everything else, so a rental is not a separate business system.
